Mark Gonzalez represents our community in the California State Assembly where he Co-Authored Proposition 50 — the Election Rigging Response Act.

 

An organizer, a caregiver, a renter, and an activist who knows that the system isn’t working for ordinary people in our community, Mark is the son of a single mother who grew up in Section 8 housing. Later, Mark became Chair of the LA County Democratic Party.

Elected to the State Assembly in 2024, Mark is helping to fight back against Donald Trump — by putting the power in the hands of the People of California. While Donald Trump cheats the system — forcing red states to erase Democratic districts from their congressional maps — the people of California can fight back with Prop. 50.

In this election, Californians will decide on emergency congressional district maps inner state that help level the playing field for us. To ensure the midterms don’t give an unfair advantage to Republicans — Mark is supporting Prop. 50 — the Election Rigging Response Act.
